Disney Caribbean Beach Dec 2024 - Day 3

Day 3! Here we go! I slept in. I think I left at like 10:30am. Oh the beauty of solo travel. I didn't order any food and ate a bit of the food I brougtht - peaunt butter tortillas, dried mango, almonds. And I did all my supplements. Hauled them all with. And did the dang thing. I did do lightning pass for the day so I did have times I needed to be in Hollywood Studios but it was an easy morning, chilling and getting ready. First, fit check. Then I headed to the Skyliner which was SO dang close. Like I can't tell you how close it was. THen it was off we go! I was a little worried about getting on at Riviera where no one gets off, but it was easy peasy. Probably because I was riding at such an odd time. Tower of Terror was my first ride of the day. I screwed up again though and put Tower of Terror and Rock n Roller Coaster an hour apart. It's just super awkward because they're both SO far away from basically everything else, so I got my steps in going across the park so many times lol. Oh well.

Fit check: Shirt is Amazon. Skirt is Amazon. Light pink crocs again. Disney ears. And dried mango in my hand lol
My cute Loungefly. Like seriously. SO pretty. It sparkled too. Ugh. I am now converted to Loungefly. I wasn't sure and it was hard with bringing warmer things due to the size, but wow. Yes, it's great and I love it.
Oh look! The Skyliner! =)
Heading to the Skyliner. I look tired, but I was doing pretty good actually.
And on the skyliner! Lol I'll stop with the Skyliner now.
The cute Christmas stars lining the streets. And Tower of Terror of course.
The required Tower of Terror selfie.

What's next? Oh yeah, I walked all the way across the park to go watch the Muppets. I think I'm going to be sad to see this go. It's definitely old, but it's such a classic. So I'll probably go to this every time until it's last day. I walked around Muppets plaza a bit because I've never really paid attention to the back area, but I did this time! Then I went and grabbed a fast lunch at the Backlot Express. And then walked all the way BACK over to Rock n Roller Coaster. Someday I'll get the ordering right. But it wasn't today! lol. I stopped and took some photos with the Christmas tree and dinosaur. And then went...all the way back across the park again. LOL. This was the one thing I kind of regretted just from an ordering & planning of the day perspective, but oh well. I booked Rise of the Resistance since I had finally made it through all the Star Wars movies! Still have most of the tv series to watch, but I could actually appreciate Star Wars land this time around which was pretty exciting.

Miss Piggy founatin and Christmas'ed up
The big Christmas tree in Hollywood Studios. In the middle of a lake. With a dinosaur. SO random. lol
Quick selfie in Rise.
And Kylo Ren's ship. Right? lol
You can see how wet it was. It rained like 3 times. Just enough to get everything wet. Thanks Florida. Watched Chewie make a "run" for it. I wonder how many costumes they have for him in case it rains....

Then I headed to Toy Story land. I don't think I've ever paid attention to the Pixar ball so I went to see that. Then went to look in the store at the end of Toy Story Mania. I was REALLY hoping to find the new Jessie ears but they hadn't made their way to Disney World yet. Still hoping for that. I got to watch the Green Army Men Drum Corp march through with Woody and Jessie. Honestly that's one of my favorite things. Not really sure why I'm having a love afair with Jessie since she was "just a character" when the movies first came up but here we are. I got to watch the Walt movie at Walt Disney Presents. I swear I love all the history and could spend an hour reading and looking every time I go. But alass, on we go. Next I headed back to Star Wars land (can we say back and forth yet?!). I grabbed a snack at Docking Bay - blueberry corn muffin and crispy herbed yuca. Super good. I hadn't actually been in Docking Bay so it was on my todo list. It was pretty neat though not enough seating for me. Especially when it rains. Like what do you do? It was fine this time around though. I also rode Star Tours at some point and it was super fun because I actually knew what lands my flight ended up in. Again, you really need to watch the moview to enjoy the land fully. I could always tell Star Wars land was really cool but didn't fully experience how cool, so it was super fun to actually have that experience this time around. Now off to Epcot!

Cheesin with the Pixar ball
Jessie! Going to disney bound her one day!
It's the Millenium Falcon!! lol
Docking Bay blueberry corn muffin and crispy herbed yuca. Yum! Would totally get again
Bye bye Star Wars land and Hollywood Studios

First on my list in Epcot was Frozen. Actually I lie. I thought I'd do some of the Festival of the Holidays food but I took 1 look at the lines and was like no. So instead of waiting 15min in a line, I waited an hour! LOL I had yet to actually wait in the Frozen queue and we know how I feel about queues. Turns out I wasn't missing much though so can cross the Frozen queue off my list. I was going to ride Grand Fiesta, but it was down so I went to go get a cookie instead. This time I did wait in line! A line of just me lol. The cookie was good but SO sugary (imagine that...).

I don't remember ordering after this but I know I spent some time shopping (and not buying anything) and went to see the gingerbread spaceship earth, which was pretty fun. I watched the show it put on too. I rode Spaceship Earth (because I always do this, duh), Nemo, and walked through Moana. I did Soarin (because again, fast pass) and saw the new fixed Eiffel tower. Then went to Living with the Land for the Christmas overlay. There were SO many people in the fast pass line, they had us winding through the cafeteria tables. It was WILD. Didn't take as long as it felt like it would so it ended up being fine.

My half eaten cookie. It was spaceship earth!

Cheesin again
I love the colors bouncing off of spaceship earth!
Oh, and I watched the quick lightshow on spaceship earth too!
Te Fiti! I love Moana
Caught the monorail and space earth celebrating Christmas =)

And then I decided to be crazy and head back to Hollywood Studios real quick. I caught the end of the Tower of Terror holiday show and snope, rode Mickey's Runaway Railroad and Star Tours again. Both of which turn out kind of meh, wish I would have just called it a night because then I was tired. I rode the Skyliner back to Riviera and ordered some margarhita pizza. I walked back to my room with it and caught Epcot's fireworks in the distance. Woo! Successful day with lots of time to shower, pack, and get ready for bed and leaving the next day. Booo. lol

Skyliner!
Hollywood studios and tower of terror at night dressed for Christmas!
Waiting at Riviera for my pizza
Fireworks. They were so close. I kind of still can't get over how close they really were.
And pizza. A great end for the night.

Urban Decay Naked 3 Tutorial

Pigs are flying! I finally used my Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette! Alright, so I only used two shades, but that's way better than I've done over the past 4 months. (Has it really been that long?) This look is super simple and really pretty for the spring. It's just a fresh, bright rosy look. Hope you enjoy! Step 1: Start with a base or primer. I uesd a Sigma Eyeshadow Base in Provoke which is just a nude base color. Then apply Burnout over all but the very outer corner of your upper lid. Step 2: Apply Buzz in the outer corner. Step 3: Line your top lash line with a dark brown to create a softer look. I used Stila Smudge Stick Waterproof Eye Liner in Damsel. Step 4: Line your waterline and inner corner in white. I used Rimmel London Soft Kohl Eye Liner Pencil in 07 Pure White. Step 5: Curl your lashes and apply mascara. I used a combination of L'Oreal Voluminous Carbon Black and L'Oreal Telescopic Carbon Black. Face: It Cosmetics ...

L'Oreal Telescopic Carbon Black Mascara

Let's talk mascara. I am in love with the L'Oreal Telescopic Carbon Black Mascara. I also love the Voluminous Carbon Black mascara, but it's a little difficult to work with, which prompted me to pick up the Telescopic mascara in the Carbon Black line. The Carbon Black line is exactly what it sounds like - meant to be a super black mascara, more than usual. The telescopic does not disappoint in this. I think it's even blacker than the Voluminous. To compare these two, the Voluminous is a volumizing more dry formula with a dense bristle wand, while the Telescopic is a lengthening, wet formula with a plastic applicator. (They do have a Telescopic mascara that isn't Carbon Black if you find the Carbon Black mascaras too black, like if you have lighter eye lashes.) Hopefully you can see from the above photo that this wand is a little different. It's a plastic applicator that has four sides. On each of the corners, it has the little spikes that a normal wand ...

Well hello...

Oh I am SO hijacking this blog. Can you hijack your own blog? Don't know but I'm doing it! I love seeing how much I've changed. I love seeing how much I loved this. And so I'm here again. I miss writing. I miss the images, photos, creating. I miss it all. I don't even care that I'm pretty sure no one ever saw, no one still will probably ever see. It's for me. And that's enough. So here I am. How many years later? I'm a bit of a different person. In a bit of a different season. It's a hard season to be honest. I floated through life until the last few years. And I can't even blame covid. I ran from one thing to another, lots good! Some not so great, but I didn't know I was running. Now I do. And now...it sucks. Because as much as I'm grateful to know and understand. It feels like it has a hold of me. And I am so completely stuck. I have been for a while now. Well over a year. And I hate it. No idea where I will go from here. Somepl...
